Big Year Productions was established in 1994 to produce internationally distributed social issue documentaries and outreach programs that empower vulnerable families while challenging systems and promoting progressive social change.  Our award-winning work is unique in that we insist on collaborating at every stage of production with not only nationally recognized experts in the issues in which each film focuses, but with the families themselves (the true experts) who are highlighted in our work.
